Ellie's Birthday/Dance Recital!

I would say Ellie had an amazing birthday on June 18th! She woke up to balloons all over her room which she loved =)

We then had a delicious breakfast with a candle on top of course!

She got a few gifts from her siblings and mom and dad..

Then we got ready for her big dance recital! I was really nervous how she was going to be back stage without any of us but she did great! We all loved watching her perform the dance they had been working so hard on for months..

We ended the day having a delicious dinner at Wood ranch with family!

Ellie really wanted a princess cake..

I totally forgot to bring candles so we made do with matches =)

Graduation day!

Cayden's graduation was on 6/7. I tried to hold back tears on a few parts of the ceremony! They sang songs to us and had a cute picture slide show.

They called them each up by name and said all of the things they accomplished that year. Cayden was at the top for reading and math and we couldn't be more proud of how well he did his first year! They all got to say what they wanted to be when they grew up and it was all the same answers, cop, fireman, baker, teacher, doctor except for our Cayden. He of course said a train engineer =)

The next day was his official last day of school! It's amazing to see how much they grow in change in that short time..he was sad to be done with school but excited for summer adventures!

Train Museum

We have been wanting to check out this train museum not far from us ever since we moved and we finally did on 5/21! It was such perfect weather and we all had such a good time! My dad, sister and her family joined in on the fun. They were doing a civil war reenactment that weekend so we went over and watched them "fight", the kids weren't all too fond of the cannons going off and were super confused on whether it was real or not!

We got to go on a really old steam engine ride which cayden LOVED..

We had such a great day!

Mother's day at school!

Cayden had a really cute mother's pamper day at school. They started the morning off with really cute songs, then he did my makeup, painted my nails, made me a hat and a bracelet. I loved being with him every minute and will cherish this memory forever!

These were a few things he made for me at school as well...

Surprise for Mother's Day

My Mom's Birthday is on May 8th which means every so often it falls on Mother's Day. My sister and I decided it would be fun if both of our families came out to surprise her at church and spend the day with her. She was SO surprised and happy to see us all sitting there waiting for her.

Being a mom is such a tough job yet the most rewarding. These kids drive me crazy just about ever day but I wouldn't change it for anything! I love them soo much!
