Irvine Pumpkin Patch!

Last Monday we were able to make it down to Irvine pumpkin patch and had a lot of fun! Cayden enjoyed everything a lot more this year since he was able to run a round. Our first stop was the train ride!

Cayden loved looking at all of the pumpkins and also attempting to pick them up.

We went through the haunted house which Cayden luckily didn't mind..
gidee up!

We tried to get a picture of him at the giant ruler and this was the best we got..
Cayden loved the hay maze!
Mike and Cayden were playing hide and seek which is Cayden's favorite...
Cayden looking for Daddy..
Where is he??

Looking at the horses
After the pumpkin patched closed, we headed for the park to have some fun..
Cayden wanted to go for a swim..

You can print out a picture for the kids to color and if you bring it to the train station, you get a prize..this is what Cayden picked out..
After all of the fun we went home and enjoyed some special rice crispy treats that I had made. I loved them!! I have a yummy rice crispy treat recipe and I added candy corn to them! I am not even a huge candy corn person but it added a nice sweetness and it made them look festive which I loved =)

wiggles and giggles!

In September Cayden started a class that was every Friday called Wiggles and Giggles. It was a lot of fun and Cayden really enjoyed it. His friend Heather was able to go to the class as well..they would meet each other at the playground to have some fun before class =)
This picture makes me laugh, Cayden looks all excited to have a girl in the ball pit with him, and Heather looks like she is thinking the opposite..

There is a big parachute that the parents lift up and down and all the kids can run around underneath, well before we could even lift it, we found this little guy on top of it..

Our last class was sadly this past Friday and it happened to be my mom's day off so she was able to join in on the fun!

We made a craft every week which I think I enjoyed more than Cayden..

Grammy building with Cayden..
After class we drove to Redlands, yes Redlands for delicious Cafe Rio. It was free which made it even better, then to Ontario Mills to do some quick shopping before Cayden needed a nap. It was a really fun day!

L.A. Fair!

We had a lot of fun this year and were able to see a lot more than we ever have. We were lucky enough to have Mike's parents, my mom and sister to join in on the fun as well =)
Our first stop was where all of the trains were, we all thought this was pretty neat except for Cayden which shocked me because I thought he would like it the most, he had no problems until one of the horns(they were loud) scared him and from then on he clung on to daddy...
Cayden loved puting his face through these little guys that were everywhere and I loved it too because I got to see that cute smile..

We stopped at the NHRA museum for dad...

Mike and I raced and he beat me everytime, except for once because he red lighted =)
This one was pretty fun too but again, Mike always did better than me, I guess racing is just in his blood...I think I will just stick to shopping.

The dinasour museum was pretty cool, and luckily Cayden had no problems in there he really enjoyed looking at the "dogs" as he would call them...
The last stop was the petting zoo which Cayden loved as well, he even got to go play in a little hay maze...we had a great night!
Just noticed this but is that an animal trying to eat my arm?
