Ice cream and the zoo!

On 7/9 we headed over to Sonic for a mid morning treat..ice cream cones! They were either free or really cheap ( I can't remember). The kids loved it and sure made a mess!

Then we headed to the zoo for some more fun! The kids love riding the tram that takes you around to see a bunch of different animals..

We went into the bird area and a lady was sweet and gave cayden some of the bird feed..he was so excited when a bird came to eat!

The kids are always wanting to go see the gorillas and a worker came over to Cayden to talk about them with him and show him just how huge their hands are!!

They always have fun feeding the ducks too!

4th of July!

The kids had such a fun 4th of July at Grandma and Grandpa's! They were having some issues with the pool so we sadly couldn't go swimming so we let the kids have some fun in the front yard!

After that they got dressed and played with some party poppers and pop-its!

These four always have SO much fun together..

We were all excited to see the "firework shows" that are everywhere. I love this picture of the girls..they were so amazed at all of them.

4th of July Parade

I was so excited to not only find out the 4th of July parade was right by our house, but also that they did it on the 2nd which meant we were able to enjoy the celebrations more! It started to sprinkle on our walk to the street so I had to run back and grab my water camera which means the pictures aren't great but its something!

I seriously have some major goof balls...

Cayden was having SO much fun running out into the street to grab as much candy as he could..

We hadnt had the chance to celebrate Ellie's birthday yet with my family so since we were together we decided to!

Ellie loved all of her gifts!

We ate pizza and made a cake for Ellie..

After that we headed back out to watch the firework show which also happened to be right by our house..we really lucked out!!

We all had such a fun day!

Fathers day!

We celebrated Father's Day a day early with my family and had a super yummy dinner at Wood Ranch then headed over to Tom's Farm for some fun! We sadly got there right before they closed most of the stuff so we were luckily able to catch the last train!

Aquarium of the Pacific!

We love taking the kids out to somewhere special for their Birthday instead of throwing a party. We decided for Ellie's 2nd Birthday we would take her to the Aquarium of the Pacific! We all had such a great time!

Ellie LOVED the sharks and could prob look at them all day long..

We watched a couple shows..

Ellie never wanted to put her hand in the water to touch any of the fish etc until we got to the sand sharks!

The kids fed the birds..

After a fun filled day we headed over to have an early Dinner..the kids loved looking at all of the boats on the way to the restaurants..

After Dinner we decided to walk around and see the sights of Long Beach..

The kids had a blast running free..

The next day 6/18 was her actual Birthday. She got a couple gifts from us..it was soo adorable, how excited she was about them.

She waited patiently while Daddy pulled her Ariel doll out of the box and was so excited waiting the whole time..

I would say she had  great Birthday!!
