Beach day!

My sister and I decided to beat the heat and spend the day at the beach!

Cayden was having so much fun jumping over the waves..

The zoo!

I know..the zoo AGAIN!? We definitely took advantage of me getting in free and Cayden's pass this past Summer. My sister and I had so much fun taking them and the kids loved it..soo why not? It was another VERY hot day but we still managed to enjoy our day!

I think the heat was getting to us all, especially this little cutie.

Our pool!

We were lucky enough to move into a housing community that has a great pool!! The kids and I spent many summer (extremely hot) days out in the water. I felt this summer was the hottest one we ever have had, not sure if pregnancy had anything to do with it, but it was hot! The pool has a water slide which I thought Cayden would love..

He was all smiles the whole way down and after but then refused to go down it again sadly..maybe next summer

They also have inter-tubes floating around for you to use which the kids loved as well..

The pool definitely made the heat much more bearable for all of us =)

Ruby's and the beach!

Ruby's was having a crazy good deal on their burgers and fries so we decided to take advantage of it, especially since our drive to the beach is a lot nicer/quicker! Luckily we got there RIGHT when the deal started but sadly it took FOREVER to get our food! We were waiting and waiting and watching everyone else around us come, eat and leave so I finally said something. Turns out they really messed up so our whole meal was free =) the crowd was so bad when we left, we were glad we got there when we did!

We then spent a great day out on the beach with full bellies!

The Lake!

On July 13th we spent the day on the lake with family. We had SOO much fun and were really glad that Dad was able to join us this time..

Cayden remembered how much fun we had last time so we was looking forward to this trip for days..

So Cayden became obsessed with Japanese Beatles this summer, we encountered a lot of them and I REALLY don't like them so he was so excited when he found one on the water!!

Time for the raft! Cayden was not really happy to go with the little girls because it meant going really slow..

so he was so happy when it was the boys turn!

Cayden kept putting his thumb up into the air to tell Amy to go faster..

So Mike and Scott went by themselves and this picture says it all..I cant even tell whose body part belongs to whose..

It was such a fun day out on the water but man were we wiped out!!

We of course needed to end a perfect day with a perfect dinner at Cafe Rio =)
