Didn't I just turn 22?

Now I know I am not old but I feel like I am! I can't believe I am 23 and I feel like I just had my 21st birthday! Besides feeling older I had a great birthday! My in laws sadly just left this morning but were here since Sunday and it was a really nice treat having them here. On Sunday Mike and I made a specail dinner for me which was Salmon ( my favorite!!) and some friends of ours brought us over a cake....as you can see it looks more like a pile of cake but I guess the treck from their place to ours was not good for the cake and completely fell apart but it was still delicious!! On the morning of my birthday Mike snuk out of bed and made me a delicious breakfast with french toast, eggs and bacon....there was even a candle in it =) I had to take a picture of the card he picked out for me... We enjoyed our yummy breakfast in bed =)

That night Mike's parents took us out to a delicious place called Texas Roadhouse we all had a great meal and were soo stuffed after!

Earlier that day while I was getting ready Mike made me a delicious chocolate cake which we somehow found room for to eat after dinner.

32 weeks!

It is soo weird to go onto my blog and only see we have just over 7 weeks left! I am still waiting for our little guy to get big so my belly can get big but I love not being miserable! I am still feeling great and sometimes I wonder if we created incredible hulk or something cause I swear he is going to kick or punch right out of my skin! Baby shower pictures and a photo shoot I had after to come!!

Valentines

This Valentines was a fun one. I started out the morning surprising my love with a little Valentine....he got all excited and loved it. Then we made delicious ableskivers for breakfast...yummy! Mike had to work on a group project at school so while he was gone I stayed busy in the kitchen making our dessert...cheesecake! Then we got ready and went to Idaho Falls and saw the movie Valentines Day which was cute and then to Olive Garden for a yummy dinner. We pigged out! We were anxious to get home becasue we had a package waiting from my parents that had some Valentines gifts in it...of course mainly for our little boy....thanks again mom and dad! We spent the rest of the night at home pigging out some more and just enjoying being together. I love Valentines!

7 months!

It's hard to believe I am 7 months this week even though this pregnancy is still taking forever but I am hoping after the shower time will fly...we can all hope right? Well I have been feeling great...I think I am carrying low so I don't feel him at all in my ribs or anywhere near there but that will probably change towards the end. His kicks are definately getting more frequent and harder...plus I feel him rolling alot! Mike and I love to cuddle on the couch and just stare at my bare belly and watch him move....it is soo crazy...I love it!! Today has been soo great becasue we had an appt for an ultra sound to see our little boy!! It had been 10 weeks soo we were really excited!! I also had the pleasure of getting the glucose test done....luckily it wasnt as bad as I thought it would taste but it was still gross. They measured him and made sure all of his organs were there and looked good and his spine and cord and heart etc.. It was really comforting to know everything looks great! Well I still feel like my belly is too small and then I see a picture of it! Last week the docotr measured and said it was right on so that was good to know. Well I will definately say it has grown since my last picture... They did say that our little boy will more than likely be small becasue he is measuring small but not anything to stress over. I was shocked thinking this whole time we were going to have a little chubster come out but who knows...I guess better for me if he is small =)

I could just stare at him all day when they do the ultra sounds...it's amazing the love you have for them already I am sooo excited to finally see him in person and hold him and kiss him!! The picture doesnt look as clear for some reason but that is of his profile.

Snow day!!

One of the first days that we moved here Mike said he couldn't wait to go sledding and ever since then we have been wanting to but was having a hard time finding a sled since a lot of stores were out. Well we finally found one on Friday and went sledding yesterday! We had such a blast! we went about 20 mins or so to a place called Edin Lake and it has a bunch of sand dunes so you can only imagine the hills we were able to sled. =)The trip to get to the dunes was a long long walk down a long long path and then more walking through the thicker snow which was exhausting but worth it. It was soo pretty outside...really freezing because it was windy but beautiful!!

Ok so I will admit if I wasn't pregnant I would have been going down the big ones Mike was doing but of course I was being cautious and the slope may not seem so big but it was a lot steeper and bigger in person and was still exhilarating to go down.

This was one of the scary ones Mike went down...that's only half of the slope too....he got soo much snow in his face and all over but he loved it!

While we were out there we saw a true "Idahoan".....he somehow either bent or welded two cookie sheets together and that was his sled....we thought it was hilarious and could only imagine how it felt going down the bumpy slopes.

I have been eagerly wanting to get up close to a cow since we moved here because they are EVERYWHERE and they just seem like fun well I had my chance on our way home!! That brown one...well actually all of them turned there heads and just stared at me....I was trying to call them over by saying "come here moo moos" but I don't think they liked it and they actually were kinda freaking me out!!
I was too afraid to get any closer....Mike even asked that brown one for directions but there was just silence...... lol ok we are weird but can't you see the excitement on my face over being near a cow?? We were soo exhausted from all the hill climbing and snow walking but had a really great time! We just kept picturing us next year on our little neon orange sled with a little marshmallow with us...we can't wait!!

Pictures from the move and me at 24 weeks!

We have officially been living here for almost 2 weeks now! There are days where I feel we have been living here forever and days where time is flying by. For Mike time has been flying, he has been soo busy with homework! He loves all of his teachers and classes but hasnt been loving all of the work they give. He is working part time as well but he is smart and manages his time to get everything done plus he always has time for the wifey =) The weather has been totally tolerable...I thought I would be miserable but it really isn't that bad. There was one morning when Mike walked to school and it was -12 and the wind chill was -26!! That day was a cold day! Here are some pics from the move.. The first day of moving was the worst! I think it took us almost 9 hours to get to vegas. Us in Barstow....there it seemed the trip should have been over but really it had just barley started.

We arrived on Friday and could'nt move in until saturday but thought it would be fun to drive by to see it...we got out to peek in the windows and luckily our manager was there so he checked us in.....Mike and I were sooo anxious to finally see our new little home!

The one thing that I can't seem to get over is the beautiful views we have everywhere!! This pic was taken through out back window in our dining area. And this picture was taken upstairs from our bedroom window. It is still soo weird waking up and looking out the window and seeing snow everwhere!

Well my pregnancy has been great, there are days though where I can't find the energy to do anything but other than that I have been doing good. I am not gaining much weight..total so far I have gained 7 which is good but boy do I want food all the time. The weirdest craving for me is how after the first trimester or so I wanted spicey food...now before, spicey food was NEVER something I could handle or want. Well now I am willing to try anything spicey and crave it!! It is really weird to me..

I think its funny how pointy my belly looks to me and seems to just keep growing outward!! I feel like my belly should be huge by now but then again I am just barley 6 months...hopefully there will be a big change in the next 4 week picture. I know I will regret saying it everytime but I really want a big belly!!

Time to catch up!

Well I can't believe we are officially living in Idaho....it is soo different here than living in sunny California!! Luckily we had alot of help moving so it went pretty quick. The drive up here did seem to take forever but I am sure the anxiousness Mike and I were feeling to see Rexburg and our new little home did'nt help! I will post some pics of the move and our little new town and home hopefully soon!! Here are some pics from Christmas....it feels like it came and went too fast but we are really excited for next Christmas when we have our little boy!!
