Carpinteria!

 

On the 9th of September we had our annual trip to Carpinteria! The best part about our trip, was the fact that it was HOT and SUNNY! For a few years now, every time we go its cold and overcast so we were so happy! Like every year we had a great time eating lots of food(junk) and relaxing.

We found this hilarious chair in my parents garage, and still, no one has a clue where it came from. What made it even better is that it matched Mike's bathing suit perfectly..

The next day we decided to take Cayden way out into the water. Mike sat him on the boogie board and went over the waves with him. Cayden loved it!

We hate leaving every year and wish we could stay at least one more day but at least we can always look forward to next year!

A night at Disney!

It's a pretty rare occasion when Cayden takes a nap these days so when he does, it's pretty tempting to take a trip over to Disneyland. Back in the end of August Cayden happened to nap so we took a last minute trip over! We were finally able to go on Toy Story, the line is usually way too long..

 

We went on the carousal which didn't break down this time so Cayden got to enjoy it a little longer..

We were also able to fly (peter pan) and drive (Mr. toads) he loved both of them..

The T-cups are a must whenever we are with Daddy..

Mini Newport vacation

Back in the middle of August, Jared and Amanda invited us out to stay the night in Newport! They were celebrating Jared's Birthday and wanted us to join in on the fun. We were really lucky, the hotel was really nice and we had a lot of fun! We laughed a ton like always and made some good memories. =)

 

 

 

 

 

The Arboretum!

One of the last things we did in Summer before Julie went back to School was go to the Arboretum! It was the first time for Cayden and I and it was pretty humid and hot (we had a lot of those days this Summer) but luckily it wasn't very sunny which helped a little and we still had a great time..

whenever Cayden was out of the stroller he would always have to stop and smell the flowers..

There were these little huts the kids could go into..Cayden loved it..

We saw lots of peacocks which isn't really unusual for us since we see them almost every day but it was neat being able to get that close to them..

Chipwrecked and Pump it up!

Back in the beginning of August, Julie and I decided to try out one more of the Summer movies with Cayden. This particular day was showing Chipwrecked. Cayden probably ended up liking this movie the most out of the three he saw! He loved all of the singing and probably just enjoyed watching the Chipmunks.

After the movies we had our traditional lunch and Blimpies and headed over to Pump it up! We had never been and were excited to check it out, Cayden loved it!

He kept running over to this arcade game which he never actually played, just loved turning the wheel and pretending to drive..

Julie and I got a very good workout and it was a fun day out of the heat!!

Meeting Donald..

Several weeks ago Cayden and I met up with Amanda at Disneyland! While we were in California Adventure we happened to see Donald and stopped so Cayden could meet him..

 

We were also able to catch a little bit of a water show put on by Goofy himself..

I have been wanting to take Cayden to the Disney Jr. Live show for a while and luckily we were able to get into one..

They had Caydens favorites, little Einsteins and Mickey mouse clubhouse. It was very interactive but Cayden wouldn't do any of the stuff all the kids were asked to do but I still think he liked it..
