Carpinteria!

I am always SOO excited about our yearly trip to Carpinteria! On September 13th we all headed down and this year we were able to stay for three days instead of our usual two which was so much nicer!!

Did not plan it but we all laughed when we noticed how similar these two were dressed..

the highlight to Caydens trip was this, he still talks about it to this day how him and Daddy sat and watched the trains go by.

We are always soo sad to say good bye but always look forward to next year!!

Disney fun!

On August 23rd we spent most of the day at Disneyland! Even though it happened quite a while ago (I am really trying to catch up) I remember it being such a fun day. It wasnt busy, the weather was great and best of all, the kids were soo good!
One of Cayden's favorite places to eat is at the Hungry Bear, he loves watching the boats go by and of course feeding the ducks =)

I took Cayden on Mater and he was the lucky one chosen to have the special necklace in line so they can keep track of how long the line is...he felt pretty special..

He can't get enough of this ride..

So while Ellie napped Daddy took Cayden on another one of his favorites..

The fire truck pulled up right when Cayden got out of line so we had to go say hello!

There was no line so why not go on it twice?

It had taken us months of convincing Cayden to go on the Ferris wheel. The last time we had passes it was a ride we HAD to go on because he loved it and laugh and smile the whole time!! So he finally was brave enough and we went on and didn't even dare go one the swinging one..

You could tell he was ok at first and the nerves started to get worse and worse..

And he was done close to the end but at least he was a trooper and tried it!

We ended the night back at Disneyland and went on more rides and had a great day!!!

Daddy at the races!

On August 23rd Mike was FINALLY able to take the Falcon to the races. His car was featured in a magazine so he got a brand new motor rebuilt pretty much for free. He was so excited to not only be able to drive it again but also take it to the track.

Cayden hung out with Grandpa up at the top of the bleachers. He loved being there!

Ellie on the other hand slept the entire time we were there. Luckily those headphones did their job and blocked out the noise.

 

L.A. Fair!

Every year I get so excited about going to the L.A. fair! We always go on the donation days so we pretty much get in for free and the kids always have a ton of fun...so its a double win =) This year we were able to spend the day with Tammy, Jason and their kids, which of course made it even more fun!

Going to see the trains is always a must, the boys love climbing into them and even pulling the horn.

The girls just had fun hanging out in the strollers..

We were watching a parade and Cayden got sand all in his eyes. He was pretty miserable for a while but luckily got better.

The got a TON of beads..Ellie was happy about it!

This building was one we had never gone into but Cayden loved it since it was all about the super heroes. He has yet to watch any of them, mainly because of me, but has a big liking to mainly spider man.

We all had a really great time!
