Memorial Day!

We headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Memorial Day! The kids are always so excited to play with their cousins!

I bought a couple boxes of "fireworks" for them to have fun with but Starrla and Ellie decided to be terrified of them so they stayed away while Cayden had all the fun..

Ellie was having a blast in the swing..

We swam a lot that day and Cayden for the first time, swam on his own!! No floaties!!! We were soo proud of him, he was even jumping in the deep end and swimming to a wall..so glad he was able to get over his fear.

Zoo time!

On May 21st Julie and I made another trip to the zoo! We were lucky enough to eat our lunch and stare at this guy..

The kids always have so much fun at the play area..

We got some duck food and fed the ducks, that was definitely Cayden's favorite part of the day..he loved it!

They were happy to come right up to his hand to get the food..

The kids ALWAYS want to go see the gorillas, especially Ellie, she loves them! They just freak me out..especially this guy..

Daddy Racing

In May Mike was able to go racing so I thought it would be fun to take the kids since they love to watch..

Ellie did great and was not afraid at all..the weather was so nice which helped too..

Last day of school!

Cayden's class had their last day at pump it up! Cayden had such a blast being able to be crazy with all of his friends..

Yes they were jumping right before they went down the slide which was already a pretty steep one..but they loved it!

We got to eat lunch after all of the fun and the kids all got a little treat from their teacher..Cayden loved preschool!!

Caydens's Birthday party

I have to say this birthday party was my favorite one so far. I made it an effort to not go above and beyond and spend way too much time with everything like I usually do. We kept everything simple and had a huge surprise for Cayden which he was completely unaware of!

The theme he wanted was fireman and so I had a couple cute games for the kids to do while we waited for the surprise..

I got the call and sent all of the fireman out front..

We were able to find an actual fireman who does birthday parties on the side..the kids LOVED it!! They all got to sit in the firetruck and Cayden got to turn on the siren..

They talked to them all about their equipment etc..

They even got to try it on..Cayden almost tipped over..

They played tug a war with the fire hose which was so cute to watch..the fireman even got in on the action and went against all of the kids..

Cayden got to roll up the fire hose..

This was probably one of their favorite parts..getting to spray the water..you can tell just by the smile on Cayden's face!

They all got drenched..

This was definitely at the top of the list..riding on top of the firetruck around the block..the kids were soo excited!!

We had dinner and a firetruck pinata after the fireman left..

Then it was present time!

These pictures sadly came out blurry which is so sad because he was SOO happy!! He had been wanting this for forever and so a few of us all pitched in to get it for him...

I would say he had a pretty awesome birthday..

Cadyen's Birthday

Cayden has always wanted to go to pizza port (AKA Johns incredible pizza) so when I saw they were having a really good deal on Tax day which happens to be his birthday, I knew we needed to go! We all ate as much as we could at the buffet then headed over to have some fun!!

I could not believe Cayden wanted to go on this but he did...and loved it!!

The boys tried out some miniature golfing which was Caydens first time and he actually did really good!

Grammy decided to join in..

After all of the fun we deicded to cool off with the all you can eat Slurpees..

Saying the kids had a blast is definitely an understatement..what a great way to spend the day of his birth =)
