Ruby's and the beach!

Ruby's was having a crazy good deal on their burgers and fries so we decided to take advantage of it, especially since our drive to the beach is a lot nicer/quicker! Luckily we got there RIGHT when the deal started but sadly it took FOREVER to get our food! We were waiting and waiting and watching everyone else around us come, eat and leave so I finally said something. Turns out they really messed up so our whole meal was free =) the crowd was so bad when we left, we were glad we got there when we did!

We then spent a great day out on the beach with full bellies!

The Lake!

On July 13th we spent the day on the lake with family. We had SOO much fun and were really glad that Dad was able to join us this time..

Cayden remembered how much fun we had last time so we was looking forward to this trip for days..

So Cayden became obsessed with Japanese Beatles this summer, we encountered a lot of them and I REALLY don't like them so he was so excited when he found one on the water!!

Time for the raft! Cayden was not really happy to go with the little girls because it meant going really slow..

so he was so happy when it was the boys turn!

Cayden kept putting his thumb up into the air to tell Amy to go faster..

So Mike and Scott went by themselves and this picture says it all..I cant even tell whose body part belongs to whose..

It was such a fun day out on the water but man were we wiped out!!

We of course needed to end a perfect day with a perfect dinner at Cafe Rio =)

Ice cream and the zoo!

On 7/9 we headed over to Sonic for a mid morning treat..ice cream cones! They were either free or really cheap ( I can't remember). The kids loved it and sure made a mess!

Then we headed to the zoo for some more fun! The kids love riding the tram that takes you around to see a bunch of different animals..

We went into the bird area and a lady was sweet and gave cayden some of the bird feed..he was so excited when a bird came to eat!

The kids are always wanting to go see the gorillas and a worker came over to Cayden to talk about them with him and show him just how huge their hands are!!

They always have fun feeding the ducks too!

4th of July!

The kids had such a fun 4th of July at Grandma and Grandpa's! They were having some issues with the pool so we sadly couldn't go swimming so we let the kids have some fun in the front yard!

After that they got dressed and played with some party poppers and pop-its!

These four always have SO much fun together..

We were all excited to see the "firework shows" that are everywhere. I love this picture of the girls..they were so amazed at all of them.

4th of July Parade

I was so excited to not only find out the 4th of July parade was right by our house, but also that they did it on the 2nd which meant we were able to enjoy the celebrations more! It started to sprinkle on our walk to the street so I had to run back and grab my water camera which means the pictures aren't great but its something!

I seriously have some major goof balls...

Cayden was having SO much fun running out into the street to grab as much candy as he could..

We hadnt had the chance to celebrate Ellie's birthday yet with my family so since we were together we decided to!

We ate pizza and made a cake for Ellie..

After that we headed back out to watch the firework show which also happened to be right by our house..we really lucked out!!
