Halloween night!

Well if we hadn't done enough that day, we decided to head over to Grandma and Grandpa's to go trick or treating and spend time with the family.

You can hardly see him but he looks just so excited and happy, he was loving this whole Halloween thing

The parents, kids were exhausted from all the walking so we headed back and Madison read five little pumpkins!

It was such a nice day and a great way to end it =)

Halloween morning!

Halloween morning we did our traditional downtown Halloween trick or treating. I think I like going to this as much as Cayden does, I just love towns like this and miss it. Cayden was able to go this year with his best friend Russell and he was so excited about it, he insisted on holding his hand just about the entire time..

Daddy was able to take the morning off to join in on the fun as well as papa..

After getting way too much candy we went to lunch with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa..

Before we headed home we had to go see Nana and Far Far as well at Far Far's office. He let Cayden go in one of the trucks but the minute he talked about starting it up Cayden wanted OUT of there =)

It was a busy morning but a ton of fun!!

Well at least we tried!

I was looking forward to carving pumpkins as I do every year and unfortunately that day just never really came around. We found some weird, fun pumpkins at Walmart..

We ended up starting later than we wanted like usual so we were only able to clean out two pumpkins and stencil out one of the designs but that was it...

Cayden was really grossed out by what was coming out of the pumpkin but then we were able to finally get him to help scoop it out..

I was getting cuddles from Ellie..

She woke up for some of the fun..

Maybe next year we will actually be able to do it but it was still a fun night!

City Halloween fun!

Our city had a little trunk or treat night on the Friday before Halloween, so my mom came out and we headed over!

Cayden was having a lot of fun getting lots of candy...

They had a reptile area so Cayden was able to pet a snake but did not want to hold one..

So I did, tried to put him on my shoulders but he apparently really liked my hair!

Sweet Ellie was having a good time..

We waited in line for face painting for a LONG LONG time, it felt like forever and it was getting closer and closer to the event ending but they had cut everyone off from joining the line a couple people behind me so I thought we were good. Well they ended up turning all of the lights off outside which made it a little hard to face paint so we were not able to do that =( Luckily my mom was in another line for balloons and of course Cayden wanted a spiderman one =)

After we had some yummy shakes way too late, we had a good night!

4 months!

Our sweet little Ellie turned 4 months on October 18th. She is such a sweet little girl and it has been so much fun to see the differences between her and Cayden already. I had a little too much fun taking some fun pictures of her...

At 4 months Ellie is now rolling from back to stomach, still waking up about every two hours in the night, LOVES to eat/nurse (probably explains the waking up?), Drooling and chewing a ton =)

Weight: 15lbs 2oz....81%
Height: 25 1/4 inches....84%
Head: 15 1/2 inches...10%  I don't normally bother with documenting the head, but really?? 10%?? compared to the other percentages I was a little concerned and the doctor then replied all of her head was in her cheeks =)

Big trucks

On October 19th we headed over to our local library where they had a big truck event! I knew Cayden would love it and he did, his friend Timothy who also loves, anything on wheels, was able to join in on the fun.
They started by reading some fun truck books and we hung out in the library for a little bit so the boys could read some books..

Grammy was able to make it as well =)

Cayden was soo excited when he saw the fire truck..

Cayden had such a great time and was in heaven climbing into and "driving" all of the trucks.

trunk or treat

Our Trunk or Treat was a little early this year. They did it on Friday October 18th, in a way, I was excited about it being early so there wasn't going to be soo much trick or treating/candy all in one week. Cayden has somehow come to love Spider man, more like be obsessed!! He has never seen a movie or show with him in it.  So of course he wanted to be him and when I saw the elephant costume, I couldn't resist =)

Of course for some reason Cayden out of nowhere, right before we left, started having horrible allergies, as you can see below. His eyes were probably the worst but he was luckily still a trooper, and luckily woke up the next morning just fine.

Grammy and papa were able to swing by just in time for some trunk or treating!
